ROM Hack Phantasy star 0, save error? o_o

The game works for me just fine, patched with 1.8g, i use EZ flash V, i turned softreset on, blue circle, to use anti piracy cheat.
BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING DOESNT WORK!
SAVING!
when i save, it shows my save file, so then i quit and turn my ds off.
then alittle while later i go back to play again, i load the rom and BAM!
the save file isnt there anymore and i gotta create a new character and stuff

WTH?

I have exactly the same problem! I don't know if its just me not being able to read japanese or the game not storing it correctly but i can save and exit current game and reload but once power is switched off the save vanishes

i have lost a few hours play now and its getting annoying!

I am running it on a m3 real loaded with sakura, what is everyone else running?
