Hi great work, is there any way to use msx games that require keyboard controls to start them?

Arcade roms working fine but megadrive or sega master system roms shows driver init failed or black screen.

Best thing to do is setup the pc version of fba and try all roms there first. That way you will know if its actually a pfba issue or just incompatible rom.

I put the roms in the right directory and yet they don't show up, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. psnes is working fine and seeing games but pfba is not working out for me..

I just needed the right roms, now it works.

i'm trying to play multiplayer simpsons arcade game with single joy cons as controllers. if i try to switch to single joy con in-game, when i go to home menu, the program is closed. if i try to switch before and enter pFBA with single joy con, i cannot select a game. i think the main menu (pFBA) still thinks there's another joy con for buttons. i tried setting the R joy con to player 1 and got the game loaded successfully, but in-game i cannot attack, program only reads direction inputs from the L joy con (the one that can add a coin with '-')

i'm running 4.1 firmware, sx os 1.2, pFBA 1.57

Is there any way to page up or down through the rom selection? Takes a while to scroll through 11000 ROMS.

Hi guys, so I just received my jig yesterday and decided to jump into Hekate today and i decided the first homebrew I would try would be PFBA as I really wanted to play some Metal Slug 2 but i'm getting a black screen when launching the game, is this normal?

Hi, you probably have a wrong ROM set or no neogeo.zip bios file.

You need the NO-INTRO GENESIS FBA rom set. And yes it is out there i found it on a french site and ALL Roms are working.

IMHO it should be the second or third hit on goolge

hmm yeah it'd appear the bios file I was using wasn't good, it's working like a charm now, I was also wondering if there's a way to play with a second player by using the 2 joycons, I tried a few things and it didn't work, will it work if I get a second controller?

First I love the emulator pretty much any game I've tried runs perfect, so thanks for making it. Quick question, I know each there's a general default option and per rom option, but is there a way to have per system option? I'm just wondering cause when changing from CPS2 games to NeoGeo games I have to keep changing the botton configuration.

I know I can just do per rom option and save each one individually, but there's so many games it would be so convenient if there's per system option.

iirc, you just configure thru the settings screen with no rom selected to set system wide defaults

Just updated to 1.57 and found it installs it to the root of /switch and not /switch/pfba... makes a right mess of your folder structures.

You can just put it in /switch/pfba yourself, it doesn’t break anything.
