Haven't been playing PSP for some time now, Peace Walker obviously is the reason to get the flow going again but I can't seem to work it out?

I'm tempted to say keep mgsfix on when playing in case there are crashes later in the game. Is there any issue with keep mgsfix on that anyone knows?

you can decrypt the eboot.bin (for any ISO, right from the PSP)

and
use can prometheus patch ISO as well

prometheus patch MGSW and it should work fine on CFW

No need to decrypt eboot.bin.
Just patch Prometheus and it'll work.

Yes, the Prometheus Method has nothing to do with what firmware you're actually on. If you're on Gen D3, you'll need the Gen D3 fix.

Is it possible to just use a save from someone else to skip the freezes in the beginning? I've tried D2 and D3 and it's still freezing on the same, unskippable cutscene in the prologue. Could just be a crappy iso, I downloaded a pre-patched one that apparently works on "every CFW".

It seems to work fine on Gen-D2 however it requires isotools to work (I used version 1.51).

I also made a CSO and what I did was do a eboot Decrypt (use Version Patch).

Seems to work so far but I'm still testing the game out.

it's 15 to play the UMD, but you need to be 18 to view the box!!!!
