The ps1 emu (if that's what you meant) isn't very good though. Atleadt when I tried Spyro. Got about 12 fps and sometimes full speed but with horrific sound.Although I only have a O3DS, even N3DS would probably have a hard time playing PSX games right now. Your best bet is to stick to the ps2 for now (using means like mods or such) unless of course you have the disc.
That's why I said FOR NOW. Emulators get faster and better over time. No doubt this is any different. That said, it probably will never reach playable speeds without kernel hack on O3DS or N3DS.The ps1 emu (if that's what you meant) isn't very good though. Atleadt when I tried Spyro. I actually have a hacked ps3 and I think multiman runs ps1 games, so I can use that but I really like portable system for emulators than sitting in front of my tv to play a old ps1 game, I actually have the cia version of pcsx and framerates are meh but I can install cubic ninja so I really don't know what you guys recommend me
Then I would say get a PSP (nowadays are like only $30) they're super easy to mod and play PS1 games natively. OR just wait another year for 3ds emulation.I actually have a hacked ps3 and I think multiman runs ps1 games, so I can use that but I really like portable system for emulators than sitting in front of my tv to play a old ps1 game, I actually have the cia version of pcsx and framerates are meh but I can install cubic ninja so I really don't know what you guys recommend me
Yeah i have a new 3ds at 9.0 so i can install a legit cia on sysnand and then i can run ninhax but i havent done it becuase i have gateway so i dont need rxtools and i dont think fps diffrence between cia and ninhax would be that different but really i dont knowOld or New 3DS? What Firmware?
even with a New 3DS with a 9.0 firmware (which allows for kernel access on a N3DS, which is the ideal situation for homebrew) there aren't many games that run at a solid 60fps. PS1 emulation is still in it's infancy stages on the 3DS so it'll be a while before it reaches a state you'd be satisfied with. In the mean time you may want to look into purchasing an old PSP, which has native PS1 emulation (~:

honestly, it'd cost more to repair it than getting a new one. and PSP hacking is about as easy as 3ds. litterally just download the game, put it to /psp/game then you're good to go :^) Also, I think this is going a bit offtopici actually have a psp but i hacked it like 7 years ago and i dont freaking remember anything about it right now, and start button and home dosent work so any tips on fixing a psp

Is kernel access only possible via a flash card or am I getting something wrong here? When I try to run the kernelhax thing provided with the starter kit it just says "Unknown Kernel Version"...Well, if you have kernel access on that N3DS, you'll be able to run those games at a playable speed. I guess crash at like 22 fps average and ff7 full speed. But without kernel, ALOT worse.
You need to have 9.2 OFW for your *3DS and this is really offtopic. There is probably a thread in the flashcart and modding section. Is kernel access only possible via a flash card or am I getting something wrong here? Well, "off topic" depends since it is indeed somewhat needed for this topicYou need to have 9.2 OFW for your *3DS and this is really offtopic. There is probably a thread in the flashcart and modding section.
Ah I see. Well, I'm sorry but I don't fully know, myself. :s have a look around the forums. You'll be sure to find a thread that answers the same thing. if by some chance you can't find it, then make a new thread. I'm sure the puerile over at gbatemp will be more than happy to answer.Well, "off topic" depends since it is indeed somewhat needed for this topic
But yeah, I can't look there because I don't own a flashcard ;P
