Anyone know what could be causing this?

The screen stay garbled for a while. Sometimes Vista recovers from it, sometime I have to restart.

Any ideas?

First of all, it could be a virus, run an anti-virus first to make sure that it is true, otherwise if the anti virus can't eliminate it, then you need a complete format for, and you shouldn't even backup your files, since it has been affected. Otherwise if the anti virus didn't pick up anything, I'd say it looks like artifacts, I'd say your GPU could be overheating. If this is the case, what video card are you using? Is it overclocked? Does it have proper cooling? (a heatsink AND a fan).

My PC was never modded, or even opened, so it must be the heating problem!

I think my warranty is still valid.

Thanks for all the answers, guys!

As my PC is still on its warranty, I'm going to have it fixed!
