I do video game reviews and have been looking to review some DS games, but have no clue about getting the footage i need. Are there any emulators that record video directly from the emulator? If possible, I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of an emulator that runs games are perfect or near perfect speed, and hopefully one that can record directly. Thanks so much guys.

Depending on your game it is usually a toss up between desmume and no$gba. Speed is more or less dependent on your machine (nothing extraordinary required) but full speed is not unusual by any means, review footage, hacking and debugging are about all I would suggest them for though.

Video- none that I know of (not to mention most of the emulators I have ever seen with such an ability use the antiquated VFW API). Should not be a problem for taksi ( http://taksi.sourceforge.net/ freeware but no sound, not too hard to use a loopback option and another sound recording app mind) or fraps ( http://www.fraps.com/ paid, has sound) though.

I tried desmume but it was far too slow for the games i ran. No%gba works great, but has scratchy sound on quite a few titles. I tried using camtasia to do a screen capture recording of the DS screen, which worked great. Just gotta figure out the sound issues with camtasia being way too loud. Thanks for the help, i appreciate it.
