Hacking Patience Pays Off

I hacked my Fat G01 many years ago but my darn kids updated it. Of course at the time there was no easy way to hack it again. I put it away and it sat in storage. I just pulled it out and figured WTH let's see if there is a new hack for it. There was. PS3 hacked again! lol

Is there any homebrew that will block update downloads? I'd hate for someone to update it again.

Well ya figured I could disable networking but I like to use it for movies from my NAS. I guess I could put a firewall entry into my router.

That brings up another question. Is there anything for 8.2.1 CFW that disables Cinavia?

there's an option to block updates in the normal xmb. this may only be for game updates and syncing trophies. the system shouldn't download or install system updates by default.

Tell your damn wiener kids if they update your system again you'll ground them until they're 30.
