Got a PS5 Pro on 11.20 - best way to prepare?

I already have a PS5 Pro that I use for gaming and is on the latest FW, but found a decent deal on another one and pulled the trigger. The plan is to keep it in storage until such a time it can be jailbroken.

What I wonder is: should I be getting a disc drive and update to the latest FW now in order to bind it as well as getting my PSN accounts on the system (I have a physical copy of one of the LUA games and a jailbroken PS4 with activated accounts to export saves from)?

Or does Netflix 'n Hack make that entry point obsolete and I'd just be putting myself on an even higher FW for nothing?

I am retiring my ps5 too. My understanding is that you have to had been logged in. So for me I just filled up the hard drives with games and I will just not be updating and using it until I am forced to update. Then I have a band new slim still unboxed I will then be using until I am forced to update again then I might just get playstation premium until I can hack them.

Just like the xbox 360 badupdate, you never know what revolutionary hack is around the corner. The ps5 hacks are not mature but very healthy for this stage of the console.

I'd use Netflix 'N Hack method as all you have to do is restore a backup that will wipe your existing games and saves (not a problem since you don't really have anything on it) other than Astro's Playroom which you can reinstall afterwards anyway). After that, all you'll have to do is wait for kstuff and etaHEN support on 11.20 and you should be fine after that.

I have done just that and Netflix n hack seem to cut off the internet. It's fine i restored it but I will just wait until my PS5 stop working. it can be done at any time down the road and it's ridiculously easy... Now time to dust off this PS4 and use Netflix n hack on it... which was released... TODAY!!!
