Hacking Patching RE4 eShop version to support Gamepad CC Emulation? (Question)

Hi,

I've made a feeble attempt to add Gamepad Classic Controller Emulation support to my eShop bought copy of Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, the special release that supports Wii Classic Controller when connected by its cable to a Wii Remote. It did not work and actually resulted in me being asked to connect a nunchuk.

I did this by taking a dump of my RE4 using DDD then I used nfs2iso2nfs to extract the Wii ISO from it and used TeconMoon's fantastic injection tool to create an injection with the Classic Controller Emulation flag checked. This broke the Classic Controller support and caused the "Connect the Nunchuk to the Wii Remote." screen to appear.

Has anybody made an attempt at achieving CC emulation support on Resi 4 or is using the Wii CC as good as I'll get?

Try inject GameCube Resident Evil 4 it should work with GamePad

This is true, I was hoping for more native widescreen support, though, so I may stick with using CC or Nunchuck and Wii Remote.

it should be in wide screen wii U mode i play on Wii U thru Wii on usb loader gx it does work but not regular Wii system if using Regular Wii then will have to ajust tv pic to stretch or wide mode
