Patching n64 roms

Recently I got a flash card for n64. I love it, but it would be nice to have cheats on it as well.
I found some GameShark cheats for games, but don't know how to patch it with these codes.
Anyone has an experience with that? Is there any tool for that?
I tried Cracker's CCCGP but it has no N64.

I think gameshark codes patch data in the memory like the health bar
The only thing that patches roms (At least what I know of) are IPS patches which can change textures etc

You might try to find some trainer ips patches... where you find them and how you use them I have clue lol

What flashcart are you using? Does it not support codes?

It is an EverDrive 64 v2. I don't think it supports cheats. Any website with cheat IPS?

So there is no way to save rom with cheats on in emulator?
I can't find any ips or trainers. So what should I do?
