Gaming partition help.

When i try to shrink a partition is says it can't because the volume is corrupt. I use chkdsk as it suggested but on chkdsk is says it cant continue in read-only. How can i make it fix the corruption when it won't continue?

You can't check a drive that is in use in Windows. You'll have to schedule a check for the next reboot, then reboot (chkdsk should let you do this...)

Also, every program I've seen that resizes partitions, in my experience, has been dodgy. I'd recommend backing up all data, then erasing, partitioning and formatting your disk, then restoring your data. But if that's not an option, just be wary.

No way, that is not a option.

I'm using windows built in parition program. I know what i'm doing.

How do i get chkdsk to run when i reboot my pc?

It should let you... Something like "Volume C: is in use, shedule a check for next reboot (Y/n)"
