For those who are unaware, Paprium is a side-scrolling beat 'em up for the Genesis/Mega Drive developed by studio WaterMelon and released in 2020.
It's quite controversial due it's 8 year development, lack of information from devs due to internal issues and only a handful of buyers actually recieving a copy in the end however it has now been preserved for practical use with the help of a modified retroarch gens plus gx core.
I have it running on Android and aside from the sfx needing a little work, it plays really well. Should you go hunting, you will find a pack with the rom, music mp3s and the core together. (Can i share the core here? Not sure) Be sure to delete/back up your og core as this will show 2 cores in your list.
Upon first boot, the game will play a fake low res "mockup". You can enjoy it but to get past the mockup, you need to let the enemy players beat you, so your character properly dies. If you restart the rom after that, you should be good and the full game will load.
