The game itself looks very bland, unoriginal, uncreative and then of all things they go and spend their time on "real life" lemons as if that mattered to the core of the game. I want to like this Paper Mario but it just looks so depressing.

But that thing at the end? Where Toad gives him a bunch of identical jump and hammer stickers? That dashes my hopes of the battle mechanic being a bit more traditional.

Preview copy. It's basically the same as the retail full game but given to specific people (reviewers, YouTubers, etc).

So disappointed Nintendo has run out of creativity with what could have been and should have been an awesome Paper Mario, plus in high definition! Oh well, there's always Paper Mario 64, Paper Mario Thousand Year Door and Super Paper Mario. Never mind that 3DS one...

Color Splash is definitely in the right direction from Sticker Star. I'm one of those people who enjoyed the heck out of Sticker Star to be honest. I'm a huge Paper Mario fan. The no partners thing was fine by me. Even the no XP points. I didn't like level grinding in RPGs. They waste my time. I feel like that Sticker Star was a reboot to 64 and Color Splash feels like a reboot of TTYD. I can see reasons why fans who hate those games, but I like the change. Remember that Nintendo wants to attract children into playing the games. Kinda funny how most fans still don't get it. I guess it's Nintendo's message to us saying, "You people are adults now. Go play some Call of Duty or something. Either accept the games we make or don't come back at all."

Seriously, I'm getting tired of people who kelp saying "NINTENDO'S NOT LISTENING TO THEIR FANS!!!" Of course they're not. Not the western audience, I know for sure.

There is no other level that I can play other than this one!!

I've get back to the previous 3 level and searched every inch.. but still can't find it

There are more than one star you can get in some of these levels. Those other stars open a different level. They aren't just for completion purposes

You're on the right track. Keep pounding him until the whole scene becomes a situation where you have to use the item you mentioned. That item is found in the second level (ruddy road or something like that)
