Hacking PAL & NTSC

After following the softmod guide and having both .iso discs and USB loads working fine, is there anything to be concerned about when playing a PAL iso (disc or USB) on an NTSC Wii? I assume the auto-firmware updating is blocked no matter what Region game is being used?

The Update-Partition will be ignored with all Loaders, so you can't update if you run a "Backup" from a Loader. The only thing that may Occur are some garbled/black/green Screens. Play around with the Force Video Mode-Options, if this happens.
