PAK DS FILE

    I dezipped a DS game named... pinkie pie party.. yes, i know.. it's stupid...

    And there was this pak file inside

    Plus, i noticed that there was some bin files. (excluding the arm9 or arm7)
    Is there a possible way to edit or look at the files?

    Every *.PAK file is different, they're not really standard. If they're anything like ID Software's PAK's then you can open them in Winrar, if not, it's probably developer-specific.

    I tried with WINRAR and it failed. It may be dev-specific. I may try a other archiver

    Opening the file in a Hex editor and looking for its header might give you some pointers as far as the actual format is concerned, but for that you'll need some basic knowledge about using such tools. If research turns out to be fruitless, that's what I'd look into.

    EDIT: Turns out that someone already did your homework.

    Complete waste of time but worth trying, considering the color of his hex editor he's using CT2, and CT2 can use basic .pak file, if not, he's obviously screwed for now.
