are ps4 fat and ps4 slim like ps3 fat and ps3 slim? who lasts longer? the ps4 fat or the ps4 slim? the ps3 fat has the ylod also the ps3 slim has it but the ps3 fat lasts less
perhaps the ps4 slim lasts longer because it throws the heat upwards and consumes less electricity

I have the pro and the slim. The slim runs much hotter. You can feels how hot it is by touching the top of the ps4 slim.

below is a little warmer because I turn the fan to the max with the exploit of 9.00

The slim version of every console generally runs hotter. Just a fact of less space to dissipate heat via thermal mass. It's also why we see them later in a console generation. More time for revisions that allow for more thermal overhead.

I'm not sure how easy it is. But changing the thermal paste can actually do a lot. Especially if it's the factory and you've used your system a lot.
