Sorry if this has been asked before, I didn't manage to find any info that's identical to my problem!
I got a wii that is softmodded, system menu 4.1E, I got Bootmii as boot2, Homebrew channel and a few homebrew apps of course!
I have read in many sources that flashing black and white pixels may be a result of an overheating or damaged gpu!
I have some of those nasty pixels on my Wii, but the strange thing here is that they instantly appears in just a selection of applications.
They do NOT appear in the "System menu", "Homebrew channel" nor in any commercial games that I have played, both with disc and from an hdd, I have never seen them there!
But they DO appear in "Homebrew browser" and "Usb Loader GX" for example. If I close one of those applications they just disappear just as fast as they appeared when I first started the application.
My question now is if this is due to an overheated GPU? And in that case, why does it just overheat instantly in some applications and just homebrew ones?
Or is it something corrupt with my softmodded Wii that may have cause a similar behaviour? Is it something I have to fix?
I really appreciate any help I can get!! Thank you!
And have a nice day everyone^^
