Like the title says, is there anyway to gave oc settings on the OFW? I really want to play violet with better performance and still have the ability to go online.

You can overclock on OFW just fine, I've done it for literally years on multiple Switches even while playing online too with no issues. No bans. Just better performance and nothing else. (Even while playing Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, Splatoon 3, Xenoblade X, etc online)

You just need to make sure you're not running any cheats or installing any applications or pirated games/dlc on the home screen. Just control the overclock using the Tesla overlay menu and you'll be fine!

This by definition is not OFW. It is CFW running on the sysnand. That you have not acquired a ban does lend credence to the ability to overclock with nothing else though.

You're correct, it is still a cfw but on the sysnand, but I'm sure that's what the OP meant when asking this. How to overclock officially bought games they own. And play them overclocked while online just fine.

If you're just over clocking, I don't see any real chance of being banned. But that's just my experience of hundreds of hours and multiple switches doing the same. So take it or leave it I guess

Stock OFW can’t do overclocking but with Atmosphere and sys-clk on emuNAND, it’s doable. Keep sysNAND clean and block stuff with 90DNS or Incognito to stay safe online. Stock OFW refers to official firmware of Nintendo Switch. Since Nintendo is a japanese company, you might want to choose a japanese name starting with T letter as your username.

You just suggested anything but what the OP asked about. OP Wants to play a purchased game on Nintendo's services with an overclock. emuNAND and DNS blocking will PREVENT any connection to Nintendo's services.

The closest you can do is use CFW on your legit nand and use sysclk. It's not even sure if Nintendo can detect that but it probably can if they wanted to. I wouldn't recommend it specially on a Pokemon game since Nintendo is probably stricter on those games

The clock is dynamic and controlled by software, so it's unlikely to be modded externally without caveats.
