So, I am running ferrox 4.83 And I want to toy with red ribbon or yellow dog. I know that rebug toolbox has a function for it built in, but I've read that you have to format your hard drive (which I don't want to do... Its a pain to copy over my disc backups... And no, they aren't pirated). Is there any way for me to set it up without formatting my system?

You must repartition your HDD if you want to dual boot from internal, of course
(something which not even today's Rebug will do out of the box - you need to run your cfw PUP through "MFW Builder", and apply the emer_init (recovery mode) patch so it leaves some space unpartitioned after reformatting)
You can install Linux/BSD to an external drive instead (which is pretty much the only documented way on Rebug's website)
