Original Xbox WMA music.

I want to convert some music to my Xbox and send it through FTP to play ingame, but any WMA I convert doesnt seem to play.
Does anyone know if the Xbox has a special codec or something?

You can rip CDs from the dashbord and they go in the E:\ drive.

I know they are stored in a folder and I think there is a database of all the songs (like a playlist), that's what iPod does to, the files are stored in a hidden folder and the iPod reads the list of songs, so when you copy songs on the program puts them in the folder and adds them to the list.
