So I just got my original Xbox today, along with the adapter and usb drive I needed to mod it. I've had to keep reformatting the usb because of trial and error since I kept getting something wrong but now it's stuck in the Xbox file system and it somehow became write protected. This makes it so I can neither format it nor put the files to mod it on it. When I try to copy files to it after mounting it with FATXplorer, I get an error saying "Error 0x8007045D: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. \\.\PHYSICALDRIVE2" And if I try formatting it with windows, it just doesn't let me and says it's write protected. I've tried some of those methods online of removing write protection such as diskpart but nothing works. I even tried connecting it to the xbox and copying some saves onto the usb but it gives an error saying something like "The copy failed." I have no more money to buy another usb (nor the patience to wait for it to arrive) so I really would love a way to fix the one I have but it doesn't seem very likely.
