Hi,

I got a gift of a brand new 3DS in 2013. It was bought overseas (australia) so when my partner brought it back in her suitcase, she threw the box out to save space.
Since day 1, when i open the screen, it flips back into position but it does not 'click' into place. It sways back and forth, only slightly... This does not affect gaming at all but if you were to go from a sitting to a lying position the screen would fall forward only slightly... Is this how the original 3ds was built or is it possible it was damaged?

The small O3DS (like the original DS and Lite) has 2 click positions: fully opened (slightly more than 180 degrees) and normal handheld position (slightly less)

It's not loud (compared to those other consoles or an XL) though
