FFVI remake preferred over this :E

(and then Live-a-Live, which actually was said to be remade if enough fans wanted it just a couple weeks ago...!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Fix'd. It's far better IMO.

I did sign the petition though. It would make a wonder pair to OoT 3D. Perhaps the two games could be bundled and sold at a low price. Who knows?

This really doesn't seem necessary at all. Could fans at least wait until they're told for sure yes or no? A petition is pretty much last resort "fuck, they aren't going to develop this."
Yea I agree. Like Megaman. Unless they are like "look what happen to Megaman!!! Let do this just in case!!!!"

I wouldn't be surprise if they did make Majora's Mask 3D and they shouldn't be surprise if a lot bought it.

While Majora's Mask is actually my favourite Zelda game, petitioning this early on is just pointless. Nintendo would just completely disregard this in their actual viability studies.
As much as I would love to see a remake of Majora's Mask, if Nintendo were going to use their money to develop one thing, I think I would much rather see a new Zelda game entirely instead of a remake.

Remake --> Yes, please make one. It was a great game with a good storyline to it and I'd love to play it again as long as it meets certain standards and actually looks and plays like a CurrentGen game.

Port --> Thank you very much, I already have emulators Nintendo.

Again, Nintendo would not have to develop the game so devoutly.
Grezzo have already developed the OoT3D engine and assets, this can be used to build MM 3D, with less than total participation from Nintendo.

I dunno man. I mean, I enjoy OoT right now, but would it be really neccesary to re-do all the games? Come up with something new and fresh, instead of just taking all oldies and revive them.

What I've always wanted to see happen, is a direct sequel to Majora's Mask, making an Ocarina of Time Trilogy.
What better way to do it than release all three on the 3DS now that they have a working engine and models and such.

Also, Skyward Sword.

Well I never played the originals, so i'd rather buy an updated version than pay the same or more for something that looks/plays worse.

I'd buy this if it has a master quest version as well. Perhaps they could also add another dungeon, four isn't much

I suppose Twilight Princess could be called the spiritual successor of Ocarina, splitting the timeline of Young Link and Adult Link, making it canonical (despite generating an alternate universe within a Zelda game), or possibly happening before Majora's Mask.

Then again, they gotta find something new to manipulate now: We've manipulated the wind currents in Windwaker, and we've manipulated time through Majora's Mask, hell, we even made shape-shifting in Twilight Princess, and with Skyward Sword, we're getting to fly. What the hell could they possibly do next? Zelda: Unearthed Mystery? A game where everything takes place underground?

The only thing about a majora's mask remake is that it would be allot harder to advertise to the "mainstream" casual gamers. First of all it doesn't have the legendary reputation of OoT, and second its generally regarded as a harder game. The way the game works is a bit hard to wrap your head around if you haven't already played it before.

lol my friend is gonna struggle with MM

hes had the game since launch but got stuck in the Deku Tree lol

Useless if you ask me, I think the executives of Nintendo will decide for themselves if this is needed or not. I would prefer a completely new Zelda title first instead of this.

Seriously.
And still, they'll most likely keep coming for every new jrpg or whatever that shows up. I'll blame that on "Operation Rainfall"

Just wait until Layton X Wright is released in Japan.
