The free space in the card has nothing to do with it. The format for R4 doesn't really matter, but FAT16 will load the game faster from the menu. FAT32 is capable of more space, but 1GB is enough, so FAT16 is the best right now. MiniSD has to be FAT32 in order for it to work. I tried to do FAT16, and the SuperCard said NO. There might be something wrong with your DS or your MicroSD card...

Hmm....my SCminiSD works fine in FAT16.....

That's it guys, thanks so much for everyone's help. I caved in and bought the "game" at Circuit City right now.

After trying numerous things like different patches, roms, various firmware on the Supercard and R4, and also trying the hardware on a "virgin-never flashed" DS, I've come to the conclusion that there is nothing I can do to correct this problem.

I only hope that the DS Browser rom will work with the genuine RAM pack, so that I won't have to keep switching the slot 1 card whenever I want to use the program. This way, I can just keep the slot 2 plugged with the RAM pack, and keep slot 1 plugged with the R4 - nice and clean without having to bring the extra genuine card with me when I go to McDonald's.

I guess purchasing one genuine game for my DS Lite within the first year of owning it ain't that bad now is it?

Salamat! Thank you for everyone's efforts.

My DS is flashed and it's a pain in the ass. Everytime I turn my DS on, I need to hold START+SELECT so the SC won't boot, and I can get to R4. My Browser is patched and it is working fine. I made a topic in the NDS Games section about it.

Why don't you install the "noautoboot" version so it doesn't boot the SC by default? You can then use the R4 as a NoPass if you want to boot the SC in DS mode.

In any case, yeah you should be able to use the clean Opera rom with the official RAM pack with no issues.
