Hi,

Here is a port of OpenBOR for the Switch. From the official site :

OpenBOR is the ultimate 2D gaming engine with over 10+ years of active development behind it. With OpenBOR you can build anything from simple button mashers to elaborate projects rivaling the most lavish professional offerings. Download one of the dozens of ready to play game modules available here, or grab the development kit and start up one of your own!

  • Put your *.pak files in a "Paks" folder, inside OpenBOR.nro directory.
  • Plus or Minus for start button (allow single/dual joycon mode compatibility)

Hope you'll enjoy :)

Beats of Rage (also available for OpenBOR - turns out its the "BOR" in the title.. ;) ) is maybe the "original" very well made homebrew brawler - didn't know that there were so many others... ;) (Maybe not so well made ones.. ;) )

I think I remember that "Kill Bill" is quite good as well.

edit: Played through Kill bill again. Yep. Still good.. ;)

Most of the other paks I tried today were maybe a little less polished.. ;)

OpenBOR crashed on me -once- and that was when I still had no pak's in the paks folder and tried to exit the nro via - (minus).

Apart from that - stable and fullspeed as ever.. ;) Thank you cpasjuste.

I tested multiple games and it runs really great.
However I couldn't figure out how to exit the games back to the OpenBOR launcher.
Also sometimes it crashes completely and I have to reboot my Switch. This seem to appear when I try to exit games through '+' and exit.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
