Homebrew Open Source Launcher?

Is there an open source launcher that can launch retail game backups? I would like to make a fairly simplistic launcher system for a flashcart, so some example code would be helpful. My target is the DSTWO.

There are hbmenu (just homebrew) and http://gbatemp.net/threads/retrogamefan-updates-releases.267243/ (tho I'm not sure if it's open source).
