Good day.

So many years ago I softmodded my Wii using Bannerbomb. I'll be honest, I managed to bodge it but seem to recall having two sd cards. One with NAND on and another with Bannerbomb and USB loader on it. The former I have lost. The latter I still have.

I also still have a USB HDD with several backups of my games on. Probably formatted with a partition of fat32 and also WBFS(?) as I think was the way back in 2010.

Now I dug my wii out earlier to show my kids the joys of Rockband2 and Wii Party and whilst I seem to be able to play most of the games fine, I know that it's a bit of a mess. It has priiloader (v0.24 or something) and tried to load bootmii from there and it says a file is missing.

It's that long ago that I did all of this that I can't remember what's going on.

Is there a way I can update and tidy the whole thing up and still be able to play my games that are on my HDD? I see some awesome looking program called ModMii being mentioned but I'm such an idiot I don't know if it would work, or how to set up an SD card to start the whole process (I only have the one aforementioned SD card) Any help for this ageing gamer would be appreciated.

Edit: My USB loader seems to be reliant on the SD card being inserted. Not sure if that helps explain anything.

I'm willing to do all sorts, run reports or whatever to help people focus any answers/solutions but I need pointing in the right direction. Cheers.

Hello. :)

There is this great tool called ModMii:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/modmii-for-windows-official-support-topic.207126/

This have an Update Wizard for your existing Softmod.
Please get the Tool "SysCheck" from there (under Download Apps),put it in your App folder on your SD Card and start it from the Homebrew Channel.Make an SysCheck and use it in Modmii with the option "syscheck Updater" please.:)
