Gaming Online Action Replay cheating

So with the advent of R4 and M3s, it's bought AR to the mainstream backup world.

Since the majority of the codes work on WFC, will it make wifi obsolete?

Last time I played Metroid Hunters, I was slaughtered by infinite health & ammo

With all these new linkers supporting Action Replay codes, is Wifi doomed?

I think yes.

Yeah it will damage wifi.

Maybe not completely destroy it, but random matches with other people are pretty much doomed.

why not just choose you friends vs friend code and use them?

i guess i feel bad for those who dont believe-in/use the hacks or those loyal nintendo fans who bought the legit game themselves =(

rawr props to R4 and M3 they're going to destroy wifi but hey at least they make a few more bucks

why cant cheats be kept jsut for single player modes?

It will hurt the Worldwide modes etc. but you can always organise matches with friends.

I tested MPH and the codes don't work online for me. Might they be using the legacy trainer? Or do they only work when you play as samus?

no big deal. every other online play in any game has cheaters, so i'm not suprised

It will screw the already imperfect Wi-Fi mode.

It didn't seem to work for me either... But it didn't work on offline either. How does the 'hold L for item x' work? I must be doing it wrong

Activate press x for a specific item. In game just press x to get the item.

Nitro Hax works on original games, and came out weeks before the R4 cheats did. The MicroNinja also supports cheats on ROMs. Why is everyone obsessed with the R4 and M3?

I doubt it.. you have to be pretty shallow to cheat online..

I can picture things like people to cheat and unlock all fighters in MPH, all racers in MKDS etc.. but I doubt many people will use invincibility etc.. just isn't fun

I really hope Nintendo does something about using cheats on Wifi. I wonder if they'll have securities monitoring the matches? Like if they catch you cheating then they can kick you off with a wifi loss record. That or blacklist your DS so you can't use wifi for that game anymore (Or at all).

How would it be possible to detect flashcarts if it acts like a normal game anyway? Besides, doing this will be for the good of wifi. I'd rather have wifi without cheaters than being able to use flashcarts on wifi anyway.
