    UPDATE:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/218148113/SoftChipR89.zip.html

    According to Nicksasa SSX works now in R89, i want confirmation for this and maybe a list of games now working too, and still not working.

    Here's the list of games which might not be working, please verify first that the game doesn't work with SoftChip until R88, before you shout "game xy works now!", some of these games did not work in SoftChip until R88, like Red Steel, SSX and Sam & Max, but i'm not sure about the rest.

    Army Men: Soldiers of Misfortune (not sure if the game belongs to this list)
    Boogie (not Boogie Superstar)
    Call of Duty 3
    FIFA 08
    House of the Dead 2
    Madden '07
    Madden '08
    Medal of Honor Heroes 2
    Metal Slug Anthology
    Mortal Kombat Armageddon
    NBA Live '08
    Obscure: The Aftermath
    Pangya Golf With Style
    Red Steel
    Sam & Max Season 1
    Splinter Cell Double Agent
    SSX Blur
    Super Swing Golf

    Note that these games require to be IOS Version patched to IOS249, or that you have cioscorp installed or that you have a modchip. But some originals don't even work in the old versions.

    No!

    On every disc there's a file "apploader.bin" which is essential as the main.dol, but it's the same for a lot of games. SSX seems to work with all other apploader.bin files around but not the one from the game disc itself.

    That's a bit... odd... Any idea why that should be the case?

    More test results or at least confirmation would be nice. I think the problem is either:
    SoftChip doesn't handle the apploader.bin file correctly
    OR
    The disc channel ignores the apploader.bin file on the disc and uses its own one

    This is SoftChip with some old code from requiem uncommented. Maybe this works with SSX, but chances are that it causes problem with other games. So this should be tested with SSX first, and if it works, then this has to be tested with all other games(or at least many). If it should work(but chances are low), this version would become the next SoftChip revision.

    PS: The lines i uncommented are:
    Out->Print("Setting reporting callback.\n");
    Apploader::Report Report = (Apploader::Report)printf;
    Enter(Report);
