Gaming One More 360 Question

With NXE almost here I thought of something, those of us with flashed drives would it be possible to use single layer discs to verify when booting games from the hard drive. I am not sure of the structure of a 360 game which is why I am asking this but it would be pretty nice to use single layer discs when we need to verify. Any thoughts on this?

Might be possible , but I doubt it will happen. Single layer support for games was being worked on back in xtreme 5.X (can't remember exact release) , but only got as far as for xbox 1 backups and then was scrapped when the ban waves hit as it wasn't secure. So can't see it coming back.
