The only parent I know that wouldnt want you to have a flashcart is a parent in the gaming industry. Even they might because they probably hate the other game developing companies.

If your parents are too protective, dont make them catch you watching porn. I will tell you a real story which happened a year ago to my friend.

4 years ago, my friend was giving porn to other people on a floppy disk. Then a teacher comes along and confiscates a floppy disk from another student. Student tells the teacher that it had work in it but the teacher didnt believe him so he decided to check out whats on the floppy. The teacher finds 1mb lot of porn pictures and gets angry(the strictiest teacher in my school confiscated it). The boy got scared that he put the blame on my friend.

So the teacher calls my friends parents (really religious) to school and told them that he was giving out porn to other students. So his parents were calm at school, but when he got home he got the shit kicked out of him. He didnt attend school for nearly 2 weeks, when he came back to school he had a scar across his face and hands and couple of bruises. He told everyone that he got hit by a lampost, but everyone knows the truth.

You guys should use TrueCrypt to hide stuff! You can hide sensitive data in crypts which can be any file you like, even multiple ones you choose. You can even hide crypts within crypts, and even those within other crypts, and etc. You can mount the crypts, and when the police come, just delete the executable or unmount the crypts, and they can't possibly see your data, especially if you split your data among multiple crypts. It even creates plauisble deniability, which is nice.
