Hi, I relative gave me their old broken WiiU and said that I could keep it if I got it working. It is a Zelda Windwaker special edition so I wanted to give it a try. The gamepad connects and works OK, but the console is stuck on the WiiU logo screen. I managed to get UDPIH working, but without proper video output (the video is stuck at the WiiU logo), and I blindly navigated through the menus to get the syslogs. Here's the output:

00:00:08:403: mmc_core card err: idx=3, lba=55396352, blks=1024, xfer=0x1, ret=0x00200b40

00:00:08:440: mdblk: err=-131099, mid=0x90, prv=0x5c, pnm=[HYNIX ]
00:00:08:459: FSA: ### MEDIA ERROR ###, dev:mlc01, err:-2228230, cmd:11, path:(null)

00;00;08;339: ***LoadShared - WaitLoadComplete(0,2442464) failed with error -196673 on file "CafeStd.ttf".

The WiiU is modified, but my relative said they mistakenly connected to the internet and it auto-updated on top of the modification. Does this error mean the MMC is dying or the updated screwed the files?

Thank you
