Hacking Old player returned

Hello

I havent really used my 3ds much this year at all and gotten abit out of the loop.
I just got back to it, seeing all these warnings about the 11.8 update.
Currently im on FW 11.6. I updated my b9s, luma and other homebrew apps to the most recent ones.


From what I can recollect I probably dont want to update to 11.8?
Any point in upgrading the console to 11.7?
Or should I stay on 11.6?

Also it seems like eshop might be gone soon sadly.
Is it wise make a little lib+updates on my harddrive if I have an unopened o3ds with one of the first FWs, but ofc I want to mod it and have the games for it too.

It is apparently safe on 11.8 (unless you download in sleep mode???).
Also from what you are saying, it seems like you don't really care about online, so maybe you should update and take the risk.
