Gaming Old laptop Help

Hey guys what's up?
Yesterday i was looking for my N64 and I found an old laptop that my mother had.
Well the laptop is old but it's still working.
It has windows 98 and it's hard disk capacity is about 4gb..
I was wondering if the is a port of linux or another operating system that i could install on it, along with an wireless adapter
that I have.
So that i could use it for browsing or as a spare laptop

There are other small Linux distros such as Puppy linux and Vector Linux. Choose the one you think is the best supported and best for you. Personally I think VectorLinux looks best
Edit: N/m Vector Linux is a paid for option. $22.99 not much but still. Extra options: Feather, Wolvix, and STX

Actually i don't have the laptop right now it's at my mothers office I don't remember the model since it's a company that i've never heard before

To my mind Wolvix seems pretty good. Gnome GUI (well it looks like Ubuntu's to my mind) and only takes up 240mb of disk space (if you use WolvixCub). DSL is mainly a debugging tool I think designed to be as minimal as possible.

How big is the ram? What CPU model is it?

But yeah, with that laptop, don't expect to run Gnome/KDE/Xfce on it.

You'll have better luck on those Linux distribution that uses Fluxbox, IceWM, LXDE, etc.
