No, just that they see a laptop a convenient (it can be used anywhere) and discreet (it's not as loud as a computer) way to do their thing. It's the kind of thing you hear in the playground, and these days see on certain sitcoms. It's the reason why many parodies always include a box of tissues somewhere close at hand, and a half full dustbin.
