Yeah it depends what type MicroSD you use, I can personally confirm that Kingston 4gb class 4 MicroSDHC doesn't work for me with AKAIO 1.8.0.
And AWESOME I found my very VERY old Nokia 64mb MicroSD card, and Scribblenauts works like charm with it. (AKAIO 1.8.0 + Acekard 2i) Now I can play it after long waiting!

EDIT: Flash Card.

My 4GB class 4 Kingston Japan works. Is yours Japan too? If it is, then maybe yours is a fake.

Acekard 1/2/2i/2.1 users:
Back up your micro sd onto the computer.
Download akaio 1.8.0.
Format the card then extract the _aio and akmenu4.nds onto the card.
Put the ROM onto the card.
Load up acekard.
Select ROM.
Press y then y again.
Enable Bypass anti-piracy then save settings.
Load the ROM and then the logos will appear so just tap or press A to continue.
Then the title screen will appear.
Tada! It now works on acekard.

P.S:Add your games back on after all of this.

every hour im thinking: i hope the patch is there, but now im thinking: ARE they making a patch... anyway i'll just wait till the next R4i sdhc update, last one was useless

I keep thinking the same thing. Hell, I've spent the last couple hours trying to find a way to patch the ROM or use an AR code to bypass the loop, but the simple truth is that I have no idea what I'm doing. I've just been trying the most common locations for AP checks. I've hex edited and AR patched to no avail.

I wish there were a tutorial for this kind of stuff. At least, it'd take a lot of pressure off of the people who DO know how to do this kind of thing.

So hey, I might not know what I'm doing, but at least I'm trying. *shrug*

I know i've already mentioned it but it might have got lost within the posts.

AKAIO 1.8 users with the intro still looping with AP Bypass on. Try formatting the MicroSD with FAT instead of FAT32, you'll have to use Windows formatter as the Panasonic seems to only format the drive using its current filesystem e.g. FAT32

It worked with mine. Give it a try, it won't break your card or anything if it doesn't work.

If you have a SDHC card then you can not format in FAT16.
FAT16 has a max partition size of 2 GBs.

If you try it will come back with an error.

in fact it supports up to 4gb, unless you're planning to use the card in ms-dos and anything earlier than nt (95/98). then yes it won't work.

i think the fact i am using akaio and it is working with this method.
