but it also comes with fs_mitm.kip in place and I know I had issues with that kip in the past. But if it's not needed, that's great. thanks.

I may be wrong but I believe fs_mitm.kip is layeredFS. I imagine that might be obvious to some people (looking at the name), but I only noticed because my botw mods stopped working after I deleted fs_mitm.kip.
I don't haver much trouble with it like other people have reported, but since I didn't know what it did then I figured it was ok to delete since that was recommended.

Yeah, it obviously is LayeredFS, that's mainly why I was asking. I was wondering if the titles in the "titles" folder would require LFS to actually be layered.

Any plans to add the ability to load external payloads and/or lakka? I use ReiNX as my daily driver but currently use hekate as bootloader to load ReiNX because of those features.

Hello. I need to use exFat but the switch nags to update. But I do not want to update my switch, is it possible to use exFat without updating? The guide I saw was for version 2 - 4, my switch is on 5.1.0.. Please help.

Or is there any other way to install >4gb games?

If you're on 5.1 then you should already have exfat support

I think so too, but it nags that I need to update to use exFat. Btw, I formatted the system to change owner. Then I inserted exFat and the switch nags about updating the software.

@Reisyukaku
A few questions about 1.6:
1. Do I need to manually add pm.kip?
2. How does nogc work now?
3. Are there any other modules for the folder names I need to have (033 , 032, 036)?
4. Why the need for a dump cal0 ?
Thank you!

i followed the Tutorial on https://reinx.guide

but i only get Black Screen after ReiNX Splash Picture.
same with Darth Meteos 5.0

older version of Darth Meteos works.

could it be because i have a newer model of the switch?

XAJ70041XXXXXX

Edit:
Firmware 4.1 with exfat support.

try with a fat32 card

i tried a logical fat32 format sd card.
it gave me an error that there is no sd card.

than i tried primary fat32 format sd card.
it recognized the sd card, but same behaviour like with exfat sd card.
after splash screen i only get a black screen.

Same here.
Switch on 4.1.0 with manually installed exFAT support.

I just followed the instructions on https://reinx.guide/ for the first time using Rekado on my phone, but it goes to black screen right after displaying the ReiNX splash.

I have raised an issue for this on github. Can't link to it because of GBATemp, but it's issue #51 on the ReiNX github repo.

It would be great if you could provide as much information about your setup as possible (Firmware, model, .kips installed, etc)

Hmm. I've just decided to run reiNX on my 3.0.2 Switch following the new guide. I added exFAT support manually and my Switch recognises my SD Card. After I run the payload, I see the reiNX splash screen, then a backlit black screen for a couple of seconds and then it just turns black. It takes maybe 10 seconds to force turn it off judging from the Windows sounds.

ReiNX V1.6 only supports firmware 5.1 Update with or without burning fuses using ChoiDujourNX
