Pretty much, game installs are done with usb as well
There is a chance it may not like your nintendo folder after format, but this is all games you have installed and any screenshots
Keep me in the loopWell I guess it’s worth a shot. I have my info transferring to my computer overnight and then I will work on it tomorrow.
Keep me in the loop
Nobody says to use exFAT. All guides specifically recommend FAT32. And the allocation size should be 32K.So before I do the format, I have looked online and everybody says to use exfat. Are you sure I want to go fat32 for 128GB? And also what allocation unit size do I use in guiformat app?
Okay well I’m currently transferring back all files to my now fat32 formatted card. I hope this fixes my black screen issue. Otherwise, I’ll have to start from square one and hack it from a fresh start (I think)Nobody says to use exFAT. All guides specifically recommend FAT32. And the allocation size should be 32K.
You're doing the right thing in terms of switching to fat32. Be aware tho that any files that were corrupted on your exfat card will still be corrupted if you copy them to fat32.Okay well I’m currently transferring back all files to my now fat32 formatted card. .NSP installation is kinda broken on 7.X. You cannot normally install .NSP files with Tinfoil or the latest release of Goldleaf. USB and network install work fine and the latest Goldleaf nightly brings back normal .NSP installation but there is no public fix for normal .NSP installation for Tinfoil on 7.X. That and nothing really requires 7.X outside of online play which is always a bad idea with a hacked console.ReiNX fully supports 7.0.x, as well as sept and exosphere. It's still recommended to stay on firmware 6.2 however."
Whats the reason for stay on 6.2?
I can confirm that DevMenu still works, while Lithium is said to work. Though I do understand why it's still recommended to stay on 6.2. DevMenu shouldn't be used by your average Joe, anything by blawar isn't exactly trustworthy, and nightlies aren't always stable. When taking all that into account, 6.2 is your best option if you care about piracy and don't like the risks..NSP installation is kinda broken on 7.X. Probably a dumb question, but what is USB installs? Is that when you connect your switch to a pc via the USB-C port?
title installers are broken on 7.0.
Also NX USBloader which runs on Java for usb installs
You can send NSP files to your Title Installer via USB. There's a couple of programs that do this, like Fluffly, Goldtree, NUT, and also you can find a command line option inside the zip of tinfoil.
Thank you. I appreciate it.
It didn't work. I have had no success as of yet.
What dongle do you have, for reference? It didn't work. I have had no success as of yet.
I have the R4s Dongle. I'll explain how this happened... Before I updated yesterday I was on update 6.2 and everything worked fine. I then proceeded to the Switch system settings and updated to 7.0.1 from there and then I copied and pasted the ReiNX 2.1 files onto my SD card and from there I get the loop if I leave the ReiNX.bin file on the SD card. When I remove the file it says Package2 Magic failed! What dongle do you have, for reference?
ReinNX 2.1 only supports up to firmware 7.0, not 7.0.1, for now.I have the R4s Dongle. I'll explain how this happened... Before I updated yesterday I was on update 6.2 and everything worked fine.
