The sogns in Ouendan aren't exactly crap, well known and fits the themes like the guys above mentioned...I have to agree mthrnite, if you think blue hearts is crap you got problems. Whereas you have....dare I say it...Ashlee Simpson on the English release?!?! If that's not total crap I don't know what is....then again I guess Moaning Masume balances it out on Ouendan.....but damn it fit that stupid egypt skit well with the fat cleopatra.....I'm still looking forward to playing Elite Beat Agents but seeing the song list was a bit of a let down.

Hm, I'd prefer to see more likes of Deep Purple (and less likes of Avril Lavigne, meh) in that list. But I'll reserve my judgement until I actually play the game. Some of my favourites in Ouendan are j-rap, which isn't something I listen to under "normal" circumstances

You guys are just being elitist pigs. The song list in Ouendan is actually full of lousy j-pop bands. It's almost equal to the song list, so I don't see how the original Ouendan game had a better tracklist.

Thank you for saying that because I figured I'd have to come in with the swipe on the slimy crybaby elitist posts ripping on the tracks. I swear the game is supposed to be goofy and with tracks like those it will fit, and as you said the brunt of the Japanese versions tracks are just as hideous to them as they're making it out to be for the english stuff.

It's not going to be a recording of the song is it? I mean it is one thing to tap out a rhythm to some music but I don't really want to hear Ashlee squaking in the background.

Of course, it's hilarious if you don't understand, but trust me, for those who understand everything, it's just as hilarious, if not more.

I knew most of the songs in the game beforehand, and flipped when I saw they were going to be in there.

It doesn't "suck for them", some of it (only some) is what they might hear on the radio.

I can't wait to see how the North American public will welcome EBA.

All I know is that I tend to hate what's on the radio over here...

I wonder if its like the japanese version where they get different singers than the real singers to sign the songs (you know like DDR)...Usually the in-house singers can bring out the atmosphere of the game better.

Anyways you are saying you don't like these songs because you're familiar with them...works the same way in Japan

I really like the japanese soundtrack and I also feel that a lot of that is due to the fact that I have never heard the songs before and therefore was more open to them. Many of these are songs that i've heard of and chose not to listen to so I'm a little more cautious.

Either way I need to get a lot of Ouendan practice in so I'm real good when this comes out cuz I really can't see myself enjoying playing the Ashlee or Avril songs over and over again...
