Everyone including me has no problems with Wifi while using gecko. Your problem is your own wifi is getting interference.

Strange, I've never had a problem browsing the internet, getting on wii surveys, playing tetris party online with my wii. I can see other's gate open, but it won't connect.

Besides the friend code, is the name or town name case sensitive? My name should be CAPITAL "L".
