Hi,

I burnt SSBB to a dual-layered disk, which had been patched to PAL and had the modchip error removed. The game works fine, but then when I tried to go on adventure mode with 2 players, after a couple of minutes of playing Mario V Kirby, the game freezes and then a strange loud noise plays, and the only way to turn the Wii off is removing the power lead to the Wii.

This also happened when I was in a Brawl with a friend and he used Mario.

What could be the problem?

Thanks,
Jake.

make sure to play it in 480i mode... if not using freeloader, you will need to turn off the d-flick option, and note the game will blank screen for about 20secs before starting with 480i mode.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it shortly.

Whats the d-flick option?
