Question:

How do people make codes for ocarina? Do you need a USB gecko? e.g. a bunch of people completely changed SSBB.

Also, the USB Gecko code database is down.

I'm looking for some way to either find or make a code that changes the timing window in Rock Band 2 so it's more like Guitar Hero. Don't worry, I'd only use it with my internet connection off, it's just that my friends are used to e.g. Guitar Hero 3 and really can't play RB2 due to the HOPO timing windows. There must be some way to change this with codes; does anyone have any ideas?

This doesn't really help ... but I tried several time to load rb2 with my usb gecko. It would always freeze.

You use a usb gecko and wiird to search the memory for data and manipulate the assembly code

I don't think Nuke was very happy about Gecko Os source being released so it looks like he's shut shop
