Hardware o3dsll downgrade doubt

hi,

Anyone of you experience on old 3ds ll(japan version) as my friend need me to help him downgrade.
Is that need to delete the update file 000400102002CA00.Cia
many thread saying that for n3dsll needed to delete the 000400102002CA00.Cia. if not will brick the N3dsll. How about the Old 3dsll, still need to delete this file?

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
