Hello to you all. I could use some guidance on what I should do. I have cfw by the way of RXtools still. I would like to know how I go about getting permanent cfw on my 3ds. Any help would be great! thanks

A great place to start, would The Guide. Since you are using RXTools, you just need to run through the Guide
https://3ds.guide
You are are almost likely going to need flash your emuNAND to your sysNAND as well

ninja'd

So wipe my sd card and follow the guide all the way through and i should be golden?

Do not wipe your SD card until after you've set everything up, flashed your emuNAND to your sysNAND, and backed everything up. This is all explained in the Guide
Wiping your SD card now will cause you to loose your emuNAND.

I am not able to get soundhax to go but I can get browserhax to launch just fine. my question is can I go through the guide using browserhax?

If you know what you're doing, browserhax can be used to install B9S if you're on a compatible version.

I am using an o3ds xl on version 9.2 still. Please guide me.
If you don't know what you're doing with the browser, then using the guide to run Soundhax and install B9S will be easier. Which step is giving you trouble?

Alternatively, if you've been using menuhax to run rxTools, you could also use menuhax to install B9S.

I have tried to launch soundhacks probably 50 times and just get error! I have always used browserhax for installing rxtools a long time ago.

Be more specific. Which step of the guide is giving you trouble? What is the error?

Edit: What is your full version string? For example, are you on 9.2.0-20U?

From the very start. I have put everything on the sd card like it is supposed to be from here https://3ds.guide/homebrew-launcher-(soundhax). Then I go to start soundhax through the music app, click play on nedd and it boots me out with error. Homebrew wont launch, I have tried for about an hour, so I decided to try Browserhax and Homebrew launches fine. So the next step is this https://3ds.guide/installing-boot9strap-(homebrew-launcher). Can I continue the guide by launching Homebrew through Browserhax?

Using browserhax how you described should work just fine.

If you're trying to launch soundhax from your EmuNAND you can't do that. It has to be on SysNAND. And yes, you can use browserhax in lieu of soundhax.
Pretty sure I am on sysnand. My boy lost the sd card that had rxtools on it so I have a fresh SD card.
