Hacking O3DS rxtools and its been a while

Hi guys!
Its been a while since I touched my 3ds, and now I want to use it back again.
I managed to install rxtools, I'm on 4.4 firmware and 10.1 emunand.
I need to use internet to enter to emunand and copying cia's takes a while.
Is any of this things changed? Are there better cfw that fix this "issues"?
I want a CFW that doesnt requires internet and copies CIA's faster or loads 3ds from SD faster. Is there a CFW right now that could do this?

For CIA installing, there is no quicker solution yet.

-Option 2: update your emu to latest and keep using rxtools, if "reboot.ms" ever stops hosting rxtools launcher you can host it yourself there's this mobile app called "3DS-x-loader" (I think its android only) that lets you host the rxtools launcher

-Option 3: Buy a cubic ninja cartdridge and launch rxtools with it (No internet, just the first time)

-Option 4: Swith to another CFW and start using auto-boot

-Option 5: Since you are on 4.4 I think you can use the DS profile exploit to launch rxtools (no internet)

As for the .CIAs slow installation it doesn't depend on the CFW but the SD card you are using

-Option 6: do as Trolling says, there are many tutorials flooting around, but you know what they say "if its not broken..." If you decide to install a9lh just read the instructions carefully

There's no reason not to install A9LH. The process is mostly automated, and the risk is minimal as long as you follow the guide.
The "a9lh wil brik ur 3ds11!!" crap is just hearsay. I have yet to see any proof of a brick happening due to something besides user error.

well, I never said a9lh would brick OP's 3ds (I think a brick isn't likely to happen if you read the instructions carefully) but anyways, OP will decide what to do.

While the process may be mostly automated and relatively safe, it's still obscenely tedious. This is coming from someone who's done it 11 times already, with the last time being 3 (2 O3DS/1 N3DS) units done concurrently over the course of 4 hours.

Thus, the real issue these days is a time trade-off. Do you spend hours now to go the full distance or spend minutes setting up menuhax?

Take some time to research all of the current CFW options before making a decision. Just be forewarned that a lot of today's CFWs require either A9LH (Arm9LoaderHax) or a member of the *hax family (BrowserHax/MenuHax/NinjHax/OoTHax/etc.) to launch. Doing so will require you to update SysNAND to 9.2, which can be done with the guide at the following link:

Be forewarned that if you update your SysNAND from 4.4 to 9.2, any games which use the 6.x save encryption key will need to have their saves decrypted before updating and encrypted again after the update. This link has information about save data that you should probably read before proceeding:

Use reinand and menuhax to auto boot or get a9lh if you feel comfortable doing it.

you can also update sysNAND to 9.2 this will help in keeping rxTools and booting without a internet conection. Instead of downgrading with the tool{brain fart in recalling its name} paform an update.

On a personal note, I have yet to use A9HL on any of my 5 3ds owned.

Step two: Stop using MenuHAX, it's crap
Step three: Install A9LH
Step four: Shamelessly quote myself

If you are a new to the CFW scene, go with Luma3DS.
If you want something more advanced go with ReiNAND
If you want something super advanced CakesFW
If you want an install once and forget about CFW, SaltFW
If want all the CFW's! Ctrbootmanager9!

I'll probably advance to something else eventually but like.

what post-boot features are you getting from other firmwares that rxtools isn't already providing? aside from ntr stuff, but that's another layer on top of a cfw

It's not that I don't want A9LH, it's just that my current setup/Emunand is already good enough, maybe if I get a New 3DS or something I would probably do it.
As for RxTools, I do have Luma3DS/AuReiNand set up, but RxTools has a snazzy UI and I already have it all loaded with AGB_FIRM patches and TWL_FIRM patches, I don't think Luma3DS/AuReiNand gives me anything else.
Unless it has the reboot patch for Smash/MH4U...

You must really like yellow screens, then.

Anything that can be done with RxTools can be done using something else.

A9LH + Luma3DS would also let you have:
100% boot rate
Faster boot times
Unbrick without a hardmod
No longer need an EmuNAND
Save space on the SD card
Install GBA/DSi only once
Constant CPU overclock (N3DS)/region free without NTR
And I think reboot patches as well (for O3DS)

Although i have a9lh installed on my main new 3ds xl, i have o3ds with rxtools, as i never bothered to update.

Why is rxtools bad now? I was going to switch to reinand, but after timing each cfw boot time, rxtools boots 5 seconds faster than reinand, so i ended up keeping rxtools.

You can use Luma3DS without A9LH.
