Hacking O3ds 2.1 Downgrade

I have found a few guides on how to get arm9loader hax which im going to attempt on my 9.2 o3ds the only thing is it doesnt mention how to downgrade would i just do the same thing as in get the updates and use sysupdater?

The guides provides a 2.1 updates folder. Just install sysupdater onto your emunand after formating and unlinking it and downgrade your 3ds.(Not the full guile ) Make sure to follow the guide word for word and you should be fine. If you need your .3dsx complied pm me

When you retrieve your OTP.bin, if the o3ds guide is the same, you will need to compile it as a arm9loaderhax.3dsx file to run in the homebrew launcher.

Then I wish you much luck on you're journey for your otp.bin. I was scared to get mine on my N3DS XL xD But its simpler on the O3DS. N3DS didn't exist at the time of 2.1 xD

As long as the guide is followed the risk is very low

I believe thats a modded firmware for ds mode. If youve never heard of it or installed one you should be good

Well thats the same for N3DS, but you cant mess up at all and have to follow the guide 100% or it bricks.

Yea but bricks can still happen since it's not meant for n3ds, old 3ds just gets the 2.1 cias and install them without risk

Make sure you have a sysnand and a emunand backup. That way if it somehow bricks, you still have hardmod as a choice of reviving it.

Yes if for some reason it bricks, time for a hard mod to restore the NAND backup you made.

The place most lightly to brick is the swapping emuNAND 2.1 to sysNAND.

When running the downgrade keep watching the screen to be sure it was fully completed not error out and crashed
