Nyko will be releasing an accessory to replace the batter and cover with this extended pack.
It shall last twice as long and uses the plug in charger but not the dock. The dock does not
work due to added bulk so they offer the option to buy a dock charger for it. It will be released
launch day without the dock in the picture for $19 and a week later with that dock for $29. Who will buy this?

I'd like to see how this thing looks in a 3ds, is the thing on the bottom a dock, cause if your supposed to put a 3ds in that, it looks like it would be pretty uncomfortable to play with

it works like the wii remote batteries
the thing on the bottom is the dock
the other thing is the pack which replaces the cover on the back on the unit
it just adds bulk
the pack makes the 3ds too big for the dock so that dock allows to charge with the battery in the 3ds

Isn't the point of a portable to be... you know... portable?

If it doesn't fit in my pocket, I'm not getting it (and by the looks of it, it would make the thing far too bulky).

I'd rather bring a screwdriver and replacement battery. Or the charging cord (assuming I go somewhere with an outlet)

Thanks for the pic, OmerMe.
That looks quite stylish and streamlined.
I'll certainly consider buying one if the standard battery life doesn't meet my needs.

Ok, it does not look too bad. Now my next question would be , Are they telling the truth about the Mah? I am a little cautious about such upgrades. I have had quite a few duds with PSP 3RD party batteries.
