Android Nvidia Shield Branded Devices can't install Fire Emblem Heroes!

Its not all Shield Branded devices, as to why you can't on Shield Tablet, idk, but Shield Portable it installs fine. I'm not into it enough to care to play, but it does load up, and install from the app store just fine. Games like this however very rarely make it to Shield TV though

Edit: They could also be planning to bring this to the Switch, and having this on Shield Tablet and Switch could be like competing against itself... idk honestly

Funny how you mention that when i also say in the post. To be honest playstation vita has the playstation mobile games which were sony xperia type games on vita. I see no reason why they shouldn't port the mobile games to switch (or 3DS) In fact is probably more of a reason. Also it could use eshop money instead of android money to pay for content (If they wanted) Or a full paid version with all content accessable. Still is possible and no reason why it can't happen.

Personally i didn't like the idea of nintendo making games for smartphones anyway but now is probably gonna work for them. I just want to play game with buttons not touching a screen.

Also the point here isn't "You can just side load it" Is "Why can't it be installed from the app store?" Cause i don't see a reason why this is like this.

Most likely they don't have the resources to test it on every Android device out there, so only targeted and released the game on the most popular devices for now. chances are it will work fine if you side load the app, which can usually be done without root.

Who knows with Nintendo though, i mean they sold the 3DS XL over here with no charger as they perceived anyone buying it would already have a 3DS, so have a charger.

there is a ton of stuff you can't install on those devices, almost nothing can be installed on the tv since almost nothing is marked tv compatible. i think the tablet thing is most apps by default are phone only.

Can we rule out that a rooted phone causes this? Even Samsung Galaxy A phones have that problem (not compatible) but the app itself runs fine.

It's not a rooted device issue.
