Hardware Nunchuk motion sensor problem

My nunchuck motion sensor partially stopped working...
All of a sudden =(

I was playing Metroid Prime 3 but i can't seem to pull stuff.
And when i play wii sports boxing, i can punch normally, punch upward, move left right, but i can't raise my hands... only the wiimote hand can be raised...
What can i do?

I live on Brazil, so i think i get no support from nintendo.
I think i'll have to buy a new one... Damn, it costs R$ 140 here... not just 20 Dollars.

( i dont know if i may say this, it is just to help) on dealextreme they are really cheap, they are fake, but not very bad.
