Just to confirm, I successfully installed B9S on an official 11.5 O3DS using a Ack2i HW 81 card that I bought from NDS card (sponsor site). Installation of Ntrboot_flasher went smoothly both backing up the flash and installing the hax to the card. I then used a 99p fridge magnet:P to do the sleep mode trick (was a bit fiddly to get the right position a few times) but it worked eventually.

Thanks to the devs involved with this release. I may get a N2DS next week now:)

Correct, a .firm payload (signed with the alternate keys, usually but not necessarily B9S-ntr) is written to the flashcard itself, what it does (for example loading another from the console's SD) is that payload's problem

Oh cool. I already tested it the hard way though by uninstalling B9S and reverting to a "virgin" 9.2 O3DS. Worked first time with my R4 and a fridge magnet, although I had to contort my fingers into a ridiculous position.

Is there a way to tell what revision my acekard is?

Edit: ntr boot tells you before you start, mine is HW-81

With my install, I restored an original 9.2 Nand backup that I had (system was still on 11.1 A9LH from last year) and updated to official 11.5, as I wanted to test the Ack2i card out first before buying a new console.

Check with Decrypt9 or Ntrboot_flasher

I wasn't confident enough to update to 11.5 OFW so I did a CTRTransfer to 9.2 just incase my R4 didn't work. While I'm here I might mess about with menuhax for a bit of nostalgia before going back to B9S/11.5. Maybe even install rxTools! LOL

I like risks sometimes, yet it's not my main unit, so it's was all fun. Do you know if anyone has unbricked a "bootrom" (blue screen) brick yet with this?

I haven't seen anyone try yet. What's the easiest way to force a bluescreen brick? I might try it lol.

very neat, the flashcarts still load up and play ds games after flashing ntrboot to them

That's grate,but not quite.

Anyone got the just correct one "firmtool" file ?, without .py extension..

if you are using msys2 it should go in the msys64/minge64/bin folder .

Only one missing- rest compile was fine.

Google much? just about every open-sourced project on the 3ds can be found by searching "github <name of project>"
"github firmtool"
https://github.com/TuxSH/firmtool

was that hard?

Hello. Finaly, lastest release work on my acekard2i.

Just, when i inject, injection stay at 0%, like freezing. All files are ok, try to re install, dump is ok, only inject make me bug.

Any solution ?

Yes, with ntrboothax you can run software even with a completely blank (or disconnected!) nand

Of course it's not an excuse to skip on backups, in fact it increases the usability of backups
